How E&E Cheer Is Changing the Cheerleading World in Philadelphia

Cheerleading is evolving in Philadelphia, and E&E Cheer is leading the way. Families in Philadelphia and Lower Merion now have access to a non-competitive cheerleading program designed to prioritize fun, growth, and flexibility. This fresh approach introduces kids to the joy of cheerleading without the pressures of competition or long-term commitments.

Filling Gap In Cheerleading

Cheerleading programs often focus on competitive teams, which can be overwhelming for many families. Because of this, some children miss the chance to explore the sport. At E&E Cheer, we saw a need for something different.

Our program is session-based, making it flexible and accessible. Children can join without committing to a year-round schedule. By focusing on foundational skills—such as motions, jumps, and teamwork—we create an environment that is both welcoming and supportive.

Flexible and Supportive Approach to Cheerleading

Unlike traditional all-star programs, E&E Cheer focuses on providing flexibility. For example, our classes are designed to fit busy family schedules. They are also non-competitive, allowing kids to learn and grow without the pressure to perform in competitions.

We take inspiration from gymnastics studios, Little Gym programs, and dance classes that emphasize learning rather than competition. This model gives kids a safe space to explore cheerleading and discover their potential.

Building Confidence and Joy Through Cheer

Cheerleading at E&E Cheer is more than just learning routines. It’s about helping children build confidence, teamwork, and resilience. As kids learn new skills and overcome challenges, they feel a sense of accomplishment.

Every session is designed to encourage growth while keeping the experience fun and engaging. This approach helps kids fall in love with cheerleading in a positive and supportive way.

Rooted in the Philadelphia and Lower Merion Communities

E&E Cheer is proud to be part of the Philadelphia and Lower Merion communities. Our program was created with local families in mind. Because of this, we prioritize making cheerleading accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

Our 8-week Winter Session begins on January 12, 2025, and spots are filling fast. This session is the perfect chance to introduce your child to cheerleading and become part of a growing community that celebrates progress and enthusiasm.

Our journey began when we noticed a significant gap in our community—no recreational cheerleading programs existed for kids who wanted to explore this dynamic sport. In Lower Merion, the only options for cheerleading were either joining an intense All-Star cheer team or waiting until high school to try out for the school squad. We knew this needed to change.
