Our mission is simple: to build confidence, foster teamwork, and teach foundational cheerleading skills. Through beginner cheerleading classes, we inspire growth both on and off the mat. Designed for kids ages 3-11, our non-competitive cheerleading program focuses on fun, engagement, and inclusion.

Our Story: Why We Created E&E Cheer
E&E Cheer was born out of a shared passion and a simple need. We created E&E Cheer to offer beginner cheerleading classes for kids in Philadelphia ages 3-11. As parents, both Lauren and Sean had children who wanted to cheer. However, they couldn’t find a program that didn’t require the intense commitment of all-star gyms. Cheerleading program in Lower Merion needed to change.
We quickly realized there was a gap in the cheerleading world. Kids needed a space to learn cheer without the pressure of competition. At the same time, they deserved room to grow and explore their love for the sport.
Building Something New
Creating E&E Cheer wasn’t easy. There wasn’t a model to follow, so we had to build the program from scratch. Yet, that challenge fueled our determination. We wanted to design a program that balances skill-building with personal development. More importantly, it had to provide an environment that’s fun, exciting, and welcoming for kids of all skill levels.
The name “E&E” is deeply personal. It comes from Sean’s children, Emerson and Eli. Their enthusiasm and passion for cheerleading have been the heart of this journey and continue to inspire everything we do.
Why Cheerleading Matters
For Sean, cheerleading has always been more than just a sport—it’s been a lifeline. Growing up with ADHD, he often struggled to stay engaged with traditional sports. Cheerleading was different. It constantly challenged him with new skills, stunts, and tumbling sequences.
The thrill of learning something new and mastering it gave him focus and purpose. Cheerleading became a goal to chase, one that kept him coming back. Now, Sean wants to share that passion with every child who steps into E&E Cheer’s beginner cheerleading program.
