Frequently Asked Questions

Does my child need any prior cheerleading or tumbling experience?

For our Beginner Cheer & Tumbling and Cheer Fundamentals classes - not at all! These classes are specifically designed for students with no prior experience. However, our Intermediate Tumbling class does require students to have strong handstand, cartwheel, backbend, and roundoff skills as we'll be working on back walkovers and front walkovers. Our expert coaches will start beginners with the fundamentals and progress at a comfortable pace. We welcome Lower Merion families of all skill levels!

What should my child wear to class?

Students should wear comfortable athletic clothing that allows for movement (leggings, athletic shorts, fitted t-shirt or tank top). Hair should be pulled back in a ponytail or bun. No jewelry or accessories. Students must wear sneakers or cheer shoes - no Uggs, Crocs, sandals, or similar footwear for safety reasons.
